Hi, I am Joycelyn.

I’ve always believed that when life hands you a challenge, you find a creative way around it. My first encounter with web design came out of necessity—I was a bride on a budget who refused to let a costly quote stop me. I rolled up my sleeves, learned what I needed, and built my own website. What started as a quick fix became the spark that ignited my passion for design and strategy—and eventually led to the creation of JoiB Consulting.

For more than 14 years, I’ve worked across the nonprofit and small business sectors—leading teams, managing operations, and turning vision into structure in fast-paced, mission-driven environments. Along the way, I’ve launched and led multiple ventures, including Beyond the Aisle, a Christian nonprofit helping couples build marriages that last beyond the wedding day, and Declarations, a faith-based apparel brand rooted in Scripture and personal testimony. Most recently, I founded Vision Runners HQ™, a specialized support service for faith-based leaders who need strategic, high-level help to carry out the work God has called them to do.

Each experience has added a new layer to my work—combining creativity, systems, and strategy to help clients move from idea to implementation with clarity and confidence. I’m not just a “doer.” I’m a strategist, a sounding board, and a trusted thought partner who has helped leaders navigate transitions, host large-scale events, and build lasting digital foundations for their organizations.
