Trust the Process in Uncertain Times

There are moments when this journey feels overwhelming. Late nights, countless hours of strategic planning, and the surge of energy that accompanies every fresh idea can quickly turn into doubt and exhaustion. I’ve been there—burning the midnight oil while wondering if my work is truly making an impact or if it will ever become a lasting legacy for my children.

In full transparency, I’ve battled discouragement. Progress often seems slow, and obstacles stack up in ways that make me question whether my efforts will ever pay off. Yet, in the midst of uncertainty, a simple truth has kept me going:

“What Doesn’t Happen in a Decade Can Happen in a Moment.”

It reminds me that while real progress may appear years away, the breakthrough we’re hoping for can suddenly arrive—doors open, prayers are answered, and everything changes in an instant.

And on days when I question the value of my work, messages from those I’ve helped remind me that my efforts do matter. People have shared:

  • “I’m nearly in tears at how God answered my prayers through your incredible strategic plan and details.”

  • “Your input during our call gave me a completely new perspective on how to strategize my business for success.”

Reading these words shows me that even if I’m not where I think I should be, the impact is real and deeply felt by others. Their gratitude underscores that seeds planted in faith are already bearing fruit.

More importantly, in moments of doubt, I find reassurance in Scripture. One verse that grounds me is Habakkuk 2:3 (NIV):

“For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”

I also lean on Psalm 126:1 (NIV):

“When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed.”

These passages point to God’s perfect timing: what feels like it’s lingering can suddenly become reality. And when it does, it often feels like a dream come true.

Embracing the Struggle

The creative process can be a tug-of-war between excitement and perfectionism. While fresh ideas fuel our passion, the drive to make them “perfect” can hold us back. I’ve learned that waiting for absolute perfection can become an excuse to delay taking action. Excellence matters, but so does authenticity—and sometimes, sharing what we have right now is exactly what’s needed to bring hope or clarity to someone else.

By focusing on progress over perfection, we grow through each attempt, each version, and each project. Building something meaningful takes time, but it’s often in these challenging stretches that we find the resilience and wisdom we’ll need later.

You’re Not Alone

If you ever feel like giving up, know you’re not alone. Every entrepreneur, creative, and visionary wrestles with seasons of doubt. But it’s crucial to keep going—to trust that your decade of work, prayer, and perseverance can bloom into something extraordinary in a single moment. As we walk this path, I’m here to help.
